APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

Choose the post based on the template and periapical radiograph of the tooth. Remove a portion of the canal filling, leaving at least 3 to 5 mm at the root apex. Prepare the canal with a Largo drill that matches the diameter of the chosen post. Position the post to ensure a proper fit. Cut at high speed with a diamond drill while refrigerated. Clean the post with alcohol and allow to dry. Apply a coat of silane (SILANO ANGELUS ®) and leave to dry for 1 minute. Apply the adhesive (if applicable) according to the cement manufacturer's instructions. Rinse the canal with water jets before drying with air and absorbent paper tips. If necessary, condition the canal with ANGELUS® 37% PHOSPHORIC ACID for 15 seconds. Rinse and dry the canal using air and absorbent paper tips. Apply the adhesive (if applicable) according to the cement's directions for use. Apply the cement and light-cure. Construct the filling core.
