Walser® Aseptor-sterilisation cassette 'short'

The so-called Walser® Aseptor cassette 'short' 14cm (1 frame, 10 clamps) was specially developed by Dr. Walser for the clear storage of root canal instruments and their perfect sterilisation:

• Several openings ensure good ventilation during sterilisation.

• After the contents have dried, the openings can be closed using sliders, thus guaranteeing sterile storage.

• The contents of the cassette consist of two hinged perforated strips into which either machine-operated WB instruments with clamps or hand instruments coded using frames can be inserted.

• The carrier frame in the cassette, on which the two hinged perforated strips are located, can be completely removed from the cassette so that several elongated instruments such as probes or forceps can also be inserted and sterilised.

• The cassette lid can be completely removed.

• There are two containers for cotton pellets and paper tips inside the lid.

• Dimensions of the sterilisation cassette: L 140 x W 70 x H 23 mm

The following must be observed when the assistant loads the cassette:

Insert the instrument into the perforated strip and then slide the clamp onto the cylindrical shaft (see Fig. 1).

The aseptor clamp is made for the machine-driven WB instruments. With its help, the instruments can be easily removed from the perforated strip of the cassette. Without touching them with your fingers, you can insert the instruments into the head of a contra-angle handpiece (see Fig. 2) and remove the clamp after it has clicked into place by simply bending it (see Fig. 3). The miniature head is best suited for this.
